Obituary
Of Rockland, Ontario, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at the age of 81. He was the husband of the late Gisèle (Viau). He leaves to mourn his good friend, Lise Trottier, son of the late Leopold Laviolette and the late Lucille (Filion). He also leaves grieving his two children, Josée and Michel (Linda Jetté) and his four grandchildren, Danny and Jessica Petitclerc, Valérie and Nicholas Laviolette. He also leaves his two brothers and three sisters: Robert (Claire), Lucien (Louise), Jacqueline (late Pierre Paul Séguin), Agnès (late Paul Caron) and Monique (late Philippe Régimbald) as well as several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his two brothers and his sister, Claude, Yvon and Réjeanne (late Frederick Horler). The family would like to thank the team at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute for the care received. Donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation can be made if desired.
A religious memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 11 a.m., at the Très-Sainte-Trinité Church, 2178 Laurier Street, Rockland, Ontario. The family will receive condolences at the church before the service starting at 10 a.m.
