Obituary

Jeff Kennedy of Bourget, originally of Port Saunders, NL, passed peacefully surrounded by his partner Denis Saumure and dear friends, Alex and Carlos after a valiant battle with cancer. Son of the late Julia (Genneaux) Kennedy and the late Kevin Kennedy. Jeff is survived by his sisters and his brothers, Gertrude (Eric Hynes), Sylvia (Roy Hynes), Joseph (Elizabeth), Donald (Juanita), Kevin (Darlene), David (Delores), Phillip and Robert (Shawna). Jeff will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews as well as a large number of extended family and friends. Jeff and Denis thank the professional teams at the Ottawa and Hawkesbury General Hospitals, Dr. Shirley Clements also the Bayshore and Champlain Home & Community Care Support for their exemplary care. If you wish, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to an animal rescue group near and dear to Jeff’s heart, Kitty Kat Rescue at [email protected].
