Obituary

Of Rockland, Ontario, passed away peacefully surrounded by his daughter on Monday, November 6, 2023, at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Jacqueline (Dagenais), the son of the late Pierre Guibord and the late Eugénie Cheff. He leaves to mourn his cherished daughter, Mijanou Guibord as well as Jacqueline’s children, Carole (Jack Vachon), Carmen Rochon, Francine (Gaëtan Beauchamp), also Miller, his service dog. Dear grandfather of Wendy and Valerie Vachon, Maryse and Karyne Rochon, Félix, Maxime and Alex Beauchamp, Guillaume and Audric Lamoureux. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren as well as his brother, Pierre-André (Cécile Chabot). He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Jean-Paul (Catherine Lalande), Marie-Jeanne (Joseph Prud’homme), Adrien (Jeannette Saucier), Marie-Hélène, Donat (Fleurette Lalonde), Gérard (Alice Choquette), Léo (Claire Simon), Agnès (Ubald Lalonde), Marie-Anna (Omer Saumure), Rosaline (Jean-Louis Legault), Denis (Alice Saumure), Maurice, Rolland, Reine-Aimée (Claude Séguin). He will be missed by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the team at Manoir Rockland for the geat care provided and their compassion.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 11 a.m., at the Très-Sainte-Trinité Church, 2178 Laurier Street, Rockland, ON. The family will receive condolences on Saturday before the mass at the church from 10 a.m., also they will welcome you on Friday, November 24, from 1 to 3 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. at the:
