Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Jean-Paul Lacasse of Clarence Creek. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, on Friday, September 13, 2024, at the age of 86. Dear son of the late Napoléon Lacasse and the late Evelina Pilon. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Florence (nee Gauthier), his children, Josée (Sylvain Charette) and Yves (Caren). He was predeceased by his son Sylvain (Lili Levert). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Camille, Mélissa (Carl Drouin Hupé), Cédric Charette (Jade Guibord) and his two sisters, Fleurette (late Gaston Leroux), Cécile (late Fernand Vinette), as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and friends. He was predeceased by his sisters, Jeanne and Marie-Luce (late Fernand Gauthier). The family wishes to thank the nurses of the Hawkesbury General Hospital for their excellent care, as well as Dr. Éric Laviolette and Dr. Sehki. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hawkesbury General Hospital or the Cancer Society can be made.

The funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 5th, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Sainte-Félicité Church, 1646 Landry Rd. Clarence Creek, Ontario.
The family will receive condolences at the church prior to the service from 10 a.m.
