Obituary

Of Rockland, Ontario, passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at the age of 68. He was the husband of the late Sharon (Baillie) and Nairiyuliet EnriqueGimeno, the son of the late Gabriel Malo and the late Alberte Lacasse. He leaves to mourn his brothers and sisters: Huguette, Raymond (Marielle Charette), Paul-Émile (Nadia Cesarin), Estelle (Ted Maryfield), Cécile (Luke Vording) and Hélène as well as several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, family and friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Donald (Huguette Potvin) and his sister, Monique. Donations to the CHEO foundation can be made.

A celebration of life will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 11 a.m., in the funeral home chapel.

Uncle Lucien had the best laugh! He loved to play games. He was young at heart and kids loved him for it. He will be greatly missed by his great nephews Shawn and Eric and his great niece Julie (croquet will never be the same without him). My heartfelt condolences to everyone who knew Uncle Luc. I know he meant the world to so many. His memory will live on in our hearts.

My condolences to all the family and friends. Lucien was a great neighbour always cheerful, enjoyed golf, fishing and his daily walks. Hope his friends and family will remain strong in these heartfelt times.
