I have known Sigi for a long time and enjoyed his company a lot because it represented happiness and love of life. I’ll cherish all those trips to the sugar shack with the families where it was basically “all you can eat”. They didn’t make any profits with us. The summer vacation to Old Orchard was also a treat. I’ll never forget his invitation to test his newly bottled wine where we basically got waisted. I’ll miss you Sigi but will have all those incredible memories to cherish. No more pain buddy. May you rest in peace. Richard (Dick) Perry

I used to work with Sigi at Cercast in the late 1990s. He was close with Dieter Rupp, who was Austrian, so I used to rib them by calling the two of them "the Austro-Hungarian Empire". Lol. Sigi was a tough taskmaster and taught me a lot. I left the company in 1999 and happened to be thinking of the good times we had in the old days when I stumbled upon the fact that we lost Sigi this week. Brought back a lot of memories. Condolences to the family.
