Obituary

(Nee Begin) Of Sarsfield / Hammond, Ontario, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023, at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Howard Armstrong. Dear daughter of the late Leon Bégin and the late Gracia Laplante. Loving mother of Raymond (Debbie Lackey), Ronald (Peggy English), Larry (Julie Proulx), Joanne (Pat Manion), Andy (Karla Oliver), Christine. Cherished grandmother of many grandchildren and great grandmother of many great grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her two sons George (Jeanne Henri) and Reggie (late Diane Lamothe, Evelyn Bisson), her siblings: Alphonse (Ethel Armstrong), Nicolas (Marguerite St-Amour), Marcel (Hélène Gauthier), Agnès (Roger Faubert), Rhéal (Thérèse Cousineau), Julien (Katharina Mayer) and Alcide (Madeleine Goyette). Sincere thanks to the team of the Saint-Vincent Hospital (Bruyere) for their great care and compassion. In lieu of flowers donations to the Bruyere Foundation may be made if desired.

A celebration of life will be held at the funeral home chapel, on Monday November 20, 2023, at 11 am.
