It is with great sadness that we inform you of the death of

Mrs. Claire Joanisse, nee Tessier,

who passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on September 2nd 2022, at the age of 96.

Predeceased by her husband, Azarie, her three sisters: Émérencienne, Rita and Pauline and her grandson Éric D. St-Jean.  She is survived by her children, Denise and Gilles (Roxanne), her dear granddaughter Brigitte R. St-Jean, her great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.

Thank you to the nephews and nieces who visited her before her great departure. She also leaves several friends from the Résidence Jardins Belle Rive in Rockland, Ontario where she lived since 2014. Thank you to the staff of the residence who provided her with good attentive care and more particularly in the last months of her life.

A very special thank you to doctors Lyons and Keller as well as nurse Max for visiting my mother and showing so much tenderness, understanding and compassion.
