Obituary

(Nee Lalande) Of Ottawa, Ontario, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at the age of 91. She was the beloved wife of Alphonse Blais, daughter of the late Louis Lalande and the late Albertine Langlois. Loving mother of: Suzanne (Laurier Lalonde), Louise and Lynn (Michael Teggart), grandmother of: Alexandra and Lauren, great-grandmother of: Asher and Jonathan. Dear sister of George (Elaine). Will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings: Penny, Lucille, Gisèle and Pete.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of 2R of the Champlain Nursing Home, Ottawa for their good care and compassion.

Donations to the Champlain Nursing Home would be appreciated.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Church, 435 Montreal Road, Ottawa, Ont.

Remembering Jacqueline, Amazed at how good Jacqueline always looked. Slim, well dressed, hair done to perfection. Grandparents’ tea, Christmas Eves and so many birthdays.
