Of Bourget, Ontario, passed away on Wednesday August 10th 2022 at the age of 97 years. Beloved wife of the late Gérald Laplante. Dear daughter of the late Joseph Amyot and the late Diana Dicaire. Loving mother of: Irene (Jacques Denis), André (Nancy Mclean), Ronald, Yvon, Linda (Stephen Blanchard), Pierre (Caroline Cheng), Lucie (Marc Lavergne). Cherished grandmother to several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear sister of: Gisèle (late Gerry Guitard), Thérèse (late Edmond Benson), Gérard (Rose Ouimet) and Hector (late Denise Jetté). Will be fondly remembered by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and friends. Predeceased by her son Richard, her daughter Sylvie, her sisters and brothers Gilberte (late Rosaire Dubé), Jeovah, Roland (late Irène), Edmond (Agathe Dubé), Gertrude (late Rhéal Simard) and Nicole (Gilles Chartrand). The family wishes to thank the staff of the Hawkesbury General Hospital for their great care and compassion.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday August 31st 2022 at 11 a.m. at Sacré-Coeur Church, 3765 Champlain Street Bourget, Ont.
