(Nee Jennings)

Of Rockland, Ontario, passed away peacefully on Friday April 11th 2025 at the age of 73, surrounded by her family.
Beloved wife of Guy Benoit. Loving mother of Shawn (Catherine Morin) and Jodi (Chris Davis).
Cherished Nanny of Max and Audrey. Dear sister of James and Patricia (Howard Slade).

Sincere thanks to Dr. Asmis, Dr. Fitzgibbon and all the staff at the Ottawa Cancer Center of the General Hospital for the good care and compassion.

For those who wish, donations to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation directed to Cancer Research may be made in Mrs. Benoit’s memory.

The celebration of life will be held in the chapel of Théo Brunet & Sons Funeral Home, 2419 Laurier, Rockland, on Wednesday April 23rd 2025 at 11:30 am.

Guy, I am so sorry and very saddened for the passing of Joan. I will truly miss seeing her outside and going on her walks and I will miss seeing her great smile!
