Lise Misener
(Nee Payeur)

Of Ottawa, Ont., passed away on Friday, May 12th 2023, at the age of 83. Beloved wife of William Misener. Dear daughter of the late Alexandre Payeur and the late Atala Gagné. Loving mother of Guy (Patsy), John, Diane (Carlos) and Michel.

Cherished grandmother of 9 grand-children and great grandmother of 10 great-grand-children. Dear sister of Jean, Pierre and Céline. Predeceased by her sister Marcelle. Will be fondly remembered by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Sincere thanks to the staff at Willowbend Retirement Community, the Montfort Hospital and the Ottawa General Hospital for their great care and compassion.

Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society can be made.

A Celebration will be held at the funeral home chapel on Friday June 2nd 2023 at 11am. Family will receive condolences Friday morning before the celebration at 10:30 am at the funeral home.

Followed by the placement of her urn in the columbarium at the St-Croix Cemetery on David Rd. in Rockland, Ont.

My sincere sympathies to her husband Bill, to her son Michel in Ottawa, Jean, Guy and her daughter in California. My sympathies also to her brothers and sisters. Your family is so far apart but Lise made sure to keep contact with you all. She loved you all very much and spoke well of you all to me. I was a neighbor below Lise’s apartment. We kept in touch almost every morning. I told her often how she was my mom and who replaced my mom who is not here anymore. I really loved Lise. Lise was an important, kind and lovely person to me. I am missing and will miss her a lot. I know she is not in pain anymore. To Lise’s husband Bill, you had a very good and lovely life with Lise. I will remember the good times passed with her. A vous mes neveux que je connais si peu ou pas du tout et à toi mon sympathique beau-frère Bill j'offre mes plus sincères condoléances. Nous, les enfants Payeur, avons été séparés très tôt mais les liens familiaux ont toujours été entretenus. Depuis le retour de Lise à Ottawa nous avons pu nous voir plus souvent et une certaine complicité de grande soeur à petite soeur s'était développée. Elle me manquera beaucoup.
