(Nee Brown) Originally of St-John’s, Newfoundland, now of Rockland, Ontario, passed away on Thursday, October 6th 2022, at the age of 80. Beloved wife of the late Larry Dean Sr. Mefford. Dear daughter of the late Philip James Brown and the late Christina Roberta Thomson. Loving mother of Larry (Patty Compton), Christina (Simon Perreault), Scot (Tina Patey). Cherished grandmother of Andrew Mefford, Jack and Charlotte Mefford, Benjamin and Emma Perreault. Will be fondly remembered by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Predeceased by her sister, Claire Brown and her brother, Melvin Rogers. Sincere thanks to the team at Elizabeth Bruyère Hospital for their great care and compassion.

So very sorry to hear of Margaret’s passing. I hope that she is resting peacefully now. I was fortunate to have spent many hours with her at the hospital in her last weeks of life while caring for my mother-in-law (her roommate). She certainly kept me entertained during our conversations and when I helped her with various things (that oxygen cannula!!). I will treasure those moments forever as they helped me through the passing of my loved one. I know Margaret loved her family dearly, always looking forward to her visits. I hope that you all can find some peace (and maybe the roommates have found each other again). Sending my heartfelt sympathies Sherri Brush
