Of Rockland, Ont., born in Forbes (Ottawa), Ontario, homemaker and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, member of the Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites (OCDS) and dedicated to Our Lady of Mount Carmel inspired by St. Teresa of Avila, passed away on Friday April 1^st, 2022, at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Jean-Marie Plourde (who only recently died in December 2021). Dear daughter of the late François Xavier Leduc and the late Béatrice Frédérick Leduc. Loving mother of Pierre (Krista Waring), André (Jeanne d’Arc Galipeau) and Luc. Cherished grandmother of: Daniel (Nicole), Nadine and Bronwyn (Adam Gray) and Great-grandmother of Abilene. Dear sister of the late Beatrice, the late Lucienne, and Thérèse. Will be fondly remembered by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, family and friends.Sincere thanks to the staff and volunteers at the Pinecrest Nursing Home in Plantagenet and the Residence Saint-Louis, in Orleans who took such good care of her. A funeral service will be held at Resurrection of Our Lord Church, 1940 Saunderson Dr., Ottawa, on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 11:00 am.
