Sinnett, Shayna

Of Rockland, formerly of Belleville Ontario, passed away on Thursday, September 12 2024, at the age of 47. Beloved spouse of Alain Piché. Dear daughter of the late Frank Sinnett and the late Sharon Wright. Loving mother of Ethan. Cherished sister of Justin. Will be fondly remembered by her mother-in-law Claudette Piché, many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Sincere thanks to nurse Jo from the Ottawa General Hospital for her good care and compassion.

Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

A celebration of Shayna’s life will be held at the funeral home chapel, on Sunday September 29th 2024 at noon.

I was classmates with Shayna from Grade 8-12. I remember she was a talented artist and enjoyed shopping. It has been many years since we've seen each other last but I feel for her family in their time of loss. She's in a better place with her parents and her memories will cherished by many.

I have many fond memories of Shayna from my youth. We were cousins. Time and distance meant that we mostly lost touch, especially after I moved to Australia, but I will always remember her. Taken far too young by this insidious disease. My deepest condolences to her immediate family and friends. She will be missed.

I never really knew Shanya if I’ll be honest but I see the pain that Ethan and his father feel. Ethan is a close friend of mine and seeing him lose something this valuable is unfair.
