Obituary

(Nee Lapointe) of Wendover, Ontario, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of Claude Legacy, daughter of the late Émile Lapointe and the late Gilberte Bigras. She leaves behind her children, Marc (Ruth) and Hélène (Jim Croteau); her 3 grandchildren: Dylan, Matthew and Patrick. She also leaves her sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Pierre (Cheryl); her 2 brothers and her sister, Lucien (Pauline McNally), André and Louise (late André Jubinville). The family would like to thank Dr. Bala, her nurse Lucille and the staff at Shoppers Rockland Pharmacy for their care and compassion. Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The funeral will be celebrated at Saint-Benoit-Labre Church, 3182 Principale, Wendover, Ontario on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at 11 a.m. The family will receive condolences at the church from 10:15 a.m.

À Claude et ses enfants, En mon nom et aux noms de toutes les compagnes de Nursing de la classe 1957. je veux offrir mes plus sincères condoléances à vous tous en ces moments de peine. Comme vous, nous avons vécu de beaux moments et parfois des moments où tout nous apparaissait insurmontable. Suzanne était positive et déterminée à obtenir des résultats. Bravo à notre compagne, elle nous manquera toujours!
