Willa McLaughlin
(nee Robillard)

Of Rockland, Ontario, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the age of 80. Beloved wife of the late Donald McLaughlin. Daughter of the late Stanley Robillard and the late Vera Dawson. Loving mother of the late Christopher McLaughlin. Survived by her brothers and sisters: Ronnie (Grace), Betty (late Don Hillis), Darcy (late Denise), Gary (Marie), Carl (Gert), Ruth (Rolly Fournier), Linda (Vincent Viau) and Terry (Margo) as well as many nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews, and dear friends. Predeceased by her sister Sheila (late Jack Murphy) and her brother Larry (Ginette).

Some people touch your lives in a special way that stay with you forever and Willa was one of those special people. She will be sadly missed.

Dearest Robillard family, We are so sad that Willa has passed but are comforted knowing she is no longer suffering and is together again with Don and Chris. I’ll miss my catch-up calls with her that usually came around to talking about mom. I hope she and Flo are at the “GT boutique” in heaven finding some good deals! My deepest sympathies to all of you. How I loved Willa, my friend forever . I treasure the memories of what we shared over our lives. We started school together at age of 6 in the one room schoolhouse in Clarence where we lived . My family was military and my husband too so we kept in touch whenever we could in younger years and always wrote letters and kept birthday remembrances all these years, 75 years . Willa had the most wonderful giggle and we laughed so much together over the years , sang hymns together and cried . I will miss our Fall trips in the countryside and I will miss you forever Willa but I know you are resting in Peace now and reunited with Don and Chris . Condolences to your wonderful family .
