Of Rockland, Ontario, passed away accidentally on Sunday, July 19th, 2026, at the age of 21.
Beloved son of Bill Gilhuis and Rosanna (nee Feenstra). Loving brother of: Daniel (Erika), Aaron (Nicole), Megan (Enrique) and Josh (Keisha).
Will be fondly remembered by his grandparents Hans and Marie Feenstra, his nieces and nephews: Maicaiah, Ezra, Isaiah , Gideon, Elias, August, Saskia, baby Munoz and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Funeral service that will be held at New Beginning Church, 954 Giroux St. Rockland on Friday July 24th, 2026, at 10:00 am. followed by the burial and a gathering at the church.

I will never forget when Jacob ran inside their house and came back with his offering in both of his palms and asked me, "is this okay?" Quietly, I said to myself, this kid has a heart for God. This was during NBC's summer picnic and water baptism service at the Gilhuis home.
