Mr. Denis Gauthier

Of Rockland, Ont., passed away on Monday July 20th 2026, at the age of 66. Beloved husband of Francine (nee Gélinas) and the son of the late Arthur Gauthier and the late Adélina (nee Mondoux).

Dear father of: Caroline, Louis (Marie-Frédérique Desforges), and Charles (Marie-Pascale); and grandfather of Théo and Florence.

Brother of Jacques (Angie) and Nicole. Will be fondly remembered by many in-laws, nephews, nieces, and friends.

He was predeceased by his brother Edward (Suzanne).

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday July 29th 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Très-Sainte-Trinité Church, 2178 Laurier Street, Rockland, Ont.

The family will receive condolences at the church prior to the service, starting at 10:15 a.m.

There are no words to express the sorrow we feel for you Francine and your family. We will always remember our many years together as volunteers and colleagues at the Rockland Foodbank. His dedication and hard work were remarkable. Denis was always there to lend a hand. Personally, we also appreciated the friendship we shared over suppers, card games and good humour.
