Of Rockland, Ontario, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Nicole (Wolfe), the son of the late Zéphirin Larocque and the late Marguerite Martel. He leaves behind his three daughters: Sylvie (Joël Lalonde), Louise (Jean-Marc St-Amour) and Manon (Eric Bélanger); his grandchildren: Mélissa, Danika, Nicholas, Justin, Élia and Xavier. He also leaves his brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Claudette Potvin, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Donations to the Alzheimer Society may be made if desired.

The funeral will be held privately.

Jean came to our party in Russell many years ago. His mother and mine (Georgette) were sisters. As a child I remember going to Sarsfield to visit him and his dad. I am still in same house that I was born in Russell.

Hi. My name is Rachelle Labelle daughter of Georgette Martel, aunt Margaret"sister. I remember Jean very well. We used to play together when my mom visited Aunt Margaret and uncle Zephirin in Sarsfield. Jean was a lovely and kind person with a beautiful smile.I think I met you Nicole at the Martel family reunion in Russell many years ago. My sincere condolences to you and your family.
