Obituary

Born in Alexandria, Egypt, studied and practised civil engineering in London, England, and then moved to Montreal where he eventually and successfully struck out on his own and started an engineering company, and ultimately moved and retired to Ottawa in 2006, passed away on Saturday February 4, 2023, at the age of 87. Beloved and devoted husband to Caroline Emily Karaguesian (Nee Consiglio), who passed away on October 19, 2022. Dear son of the late Claire Karaguesian (Nee Adame) and late Joseph Karaguesian. Loving father of Adrian (Ingrid Silver), Gregory (Nancy Ballantyne) and Julian (Katarzyna Borowska). Cherished and precious grandfather of Jessica, Claire, Vincent, Adam, and Andy. Dear brother to Deanna Razzi of Italy. First married to Josephine Barrott with whom he had his three sons. Predeceased by sisters Marlene and Sonia. Not only a great engineer, but an artist, and lover of cuisine, and nature. Dad will be dearly missed by all who were close to him. Have a good journey, dad. We love you.  Heartfelt thanks to the caregivers at Montfort Hospital in Ottawa.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to the Shepherd’s of Good Hope, if desired.
