Obituary

Of Ottawa, Ontario, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Lise (Masson) Baxter. Dear son of the late Cornelius Baxter and the late Jean Templeton. Loving father of Suzanne (Dave Clendinning), Lynn, Peter (Cheryl) and Mark (Manon). Cherished grandfather of Matthew Clendinning (Tiffany), Michael Clendinning (Amanda), Megan Clendinning (Dominic Vezina), Christopher Clendinning (Chelsea), Amanda Baxter (Tim Shea), Joshua Baxter, Jeremy Baxter (Laurel), Jamie-Lynn Baxter, Noah Baxter and Savanah Baxter. Great grandfather of Griffin and Violet, Lily and Lucas, Isla and Emilia, Anna and Madeleine. Dear brother of the late Mildred Ross. Will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Sincere thanks to the teams of the Queenswood Villa, Montfort Hospital and the Marochel Manor for their great care and compassion. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Andrew’s Christian Church in Rockland, ON. Funeral service will be held at the St. Andrew’s Christian Church, 739 St-Jean St, Rockland ON, on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at 12pm. Viewing will take place on Thursday from 10 to 11:50 am before the mass, at the St. Andrew’s Christian Church, 739 St-Jean St, Rockland.  Proof of double vaccination and proof of ID for visitation and mass will be required before entering the church since it’s a smaller area with limited space.  A Live stream of the funeral will be available on Thursday at 11:55 am by clicking the link below:

L’exposition aura lieu le jeudi de 10 h à 11 h 50, avant la messe, à l’église chrétienne St. Andrew’s, 739, rue St-Jean, Rockland. Une preuve de double vaccination et une preuve d’identité pour les visites et la messe seront requises avant d’entrer dans l’église, car il s’agit d’un endroit plus petit avec un espace limité.
