Obituary

(Nee Joanis) Of Rockland, originally of Vanier, Ontario, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Jean-Claude Viau, daughter of the late Rosario Joanis and the late Adrienne Rochon. Cherished mother of Marc (Danielle Auger). Dear sister of Marcel (Denise). She will be fondly remembered by many in-laws, nephews, nieces and friends. She was predeceased by her sons, Martin and Justin, and her brother, Ronald. Marc would like to extend his appreciation to the teams of the Winchester District Memorial Hospital and the Résidence St-Viateur in Limoges for their care to Denise.

For those who wish, donations to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital may be made in Mrs. Viau’s memory.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 4, at 11 a.m., in the chapel of the funeral home.
